It's difficult to know where to begin. We should start at the beginning...

We made the decision that we would start our own business after a long, long discussion about us and our life and where we wanted to be and what we wanted to do.

Our plan was to travel the world in October 2006, however we realised that it would be nearly impossible to start a business after returning from a year travelling around the world...with very limited funds.

My parents (Bethan's) own a coffee house in Bridgend so as a family we appreciate good quality food and drink. My job (until July 2006) was as a Dietitian at a local hospital. So it is safe to say that we were surrounded and involved in food and drink on a daily basis. It was my Mothers question that made us think about chocolate...: "Where do you go for a special hand-made box of chocolates?"

The next day we were planning a trip to Brugge to start our research into the world of chocolate!

In April 2006 we attended a professional Chocolatiers course. We had 1 on 1 tuition by master chocolatier John Costello. We had the most wonderful 2 days . Since April 2006 we have come a long, long way.

We have based our production in Bridgend Town Centre but are now on the move to Trefforest Industrial Estate in Pontypridd.We attend a number of Farmers Markets across South Wales. We have also come a long way with our chocolates. We now produce a selection of 18 handmade pralines, hand-rolled truffles, solid and filled bars, gift boxes and hampers.

Our Children’s Birthday Parties, Chocolate Courses & Parties at our Chocolate Pod are very successful. The demand for bespoke chocolates and Wedding Favours is also growing, with our customers looking for that something special for a special occasion.
